Designed specifically for rooms with ambient light, the Carl’s Place High-Contrast Gray Golf Impact Screen enhances contrast and perceived brightness, creating a more vivid simulator image.

The gray surface absorbs excess light that can wash out white screens, resulting in better depth, sharper visuals, and improved realism—especially when paired with bright projectors. Like all Carl’s Place screens, it’s built to handle ball speeds up to 250 mph for confident, full-speed swings.

Finishing Options

Classic
Finished with 2.5" black vinyl edging and smooth, rounded grommets sewn all the way around the screen. Grommets feature a 3/4" outer diameter and 3/8" inner diameter.

Classic with Flaps
Enhances the Classic finish with 7" black flaps edged with 1" loop fastener strips, concealing enclosure framing for a cleaner, more immersive simulator look.

Classic with Loop Fastener
Enhances the Classic finish with 1" loop fastener strips sewn around the entire screen, allowing accessories, turf, or baffles to attach directly to the screen.

Room Lighting Considerations
High-Contrast Gray screens are ideal for spaces with windows, overhead lighting, or partial ambient light. If your room can be fully darkened, a Premium white screen may offer slightly higher brightness.

Aspect Ratio
You can size your impact screen to match your projector’s aspect ratio or prioritize fitting your space first and adjust the image second. Choose the approach that best suits your room layout.

Mounting Your Screen
We recommend using 6" or 9" black ball bungees to properly tension the screen. Correct mounting improves impact absorption and extends screen life.
